Beat Kämpfer celebrates its 20th anniversary on 1 July 2022.
Last year, bfa solutions ltd in Fällanden celebrated its 40th anniversary. During half of this time Beat Kämpfer was always actively involved.
Since 1 July 2002, bfa has been able to count on the competent and reliable support of Beat Kämpfer.
After completing his postgraduate studies in computer science at the end of 2001, the trained electromechanic and electrical engineer TS started directly as a software developer in the PLC area.
Thanks to his extensive experience and expertise in assembly automation and software standardisation, he quickly felt at home with the varied and interesting work in the bfa team. The establishment of the software development department for plant manufacturers in the areas of assembly and test systems, as well as assembly, gave him the opportunity to offer a standardised MES connection on the market.
Accordingly, it is not surprising that he took over the management in 2010 and since 2019 Beat Kämpfer has been CEO and owner of the company, after Jacques Boeniger led the company for 37 years.
In addition to managing the company, the technical development of the company and its products is very important to him. His focus is always to achieve the high technical and business goals. Digitalisation and Industry 4.0 topics have always been the core topic for Beat Kämpfer and the entire bfa.
Since its foundation in 1981, bfa has focused on optimising production processes in the industrial environment. A long-standing, well-coordinated team knows the mechanisms of modern technologies and methods. The self-image is based on the highest quality standards. Reliability, loyalty and flexibility are the hallmarks of bfa.
