Pi-Products

The series of PiSolutions™ products offers solutions for the collection and supervision of production data, with the clear aim to provide information for the continuous improvement of the production process.

Using PiSolutions enables the user to:

  • To monitor the progress in production anytime
  • To collect information that allow to analyze production
  • To store production data on a long term basis and herewith comply with the requirements for traceability

The following goals were set when developing the product:

  • The concept is modular and all modules will work together
  • The concept allows for scalability and expandability
  • High Quality is obtained through rigid module testing
  • Longevity of the system and upgradability is a main concern
  • Application specific bundles shall optimize system costs (eg. Pi_Inject™ for Injection moulding)
  • Cost efficient systems including industrial hardware and Pi software for the machine builder (PiBlackbox™, PiOEM)

PiSolutions is a MES (Manufacturing Execution System) which collects data from the plant floor, consolidates and stores them in a relational database. The functionality can be unidirectional (data collection only) or bidirectional thus also allowing data to be sent from an ERP system to the plant floor, such as product parameters (recipes), job data etc.
